The high-risk deadline moved. The notified body timetable did not.

Regulation (EU) 2026/1744 defers the EU AI Act’s high-risk obligations to December 2027. It leaves the notified body designation framework running on its original schedule. That gap is the most consequential thing about it, and almost nobody is talking about it.
